Description
UL = Ultralight
This duffel bag is designed to cut weight and provide compressibility for top-tier athletes and special FIRE units who prefer weight savings versus rigidity of the heavier fabrics. The materials used are much lighter and very flexible. We are using parachute materials that are impregnated with environment-friendly TPU weatherproofing and are biodegradable. The UL Fabric is extremely durable for its weight savings showing little wear and scuff marks after one year of Hotshot testings.
The UL-Skidmark 68L by NARGEAR® is very close in size to the Government issued red bag but with a more sensible shape and ergonomics.
This bag is designed for the firefighter to chain it out. It can be rapidly deployed in large crew settings and/or in emergency situations loading aircraft with its doubled-reinforced handle on all four sides.
Perfect for Bell model helicopters 212 and 205 Hell-holes and very awesome for stacking and building external jettison sling loads anywhere. With this duffle design in a rectangle vs. conical shape, it is designed to stack. The Skidmark also fits perfectly inside most engine compartments & IHC Buggies, or let it ride outside exposed to the elements with its highly weather-resistant materials. Excellent choice for the rigors of the wildland firefighter lifestyle and hardcore outdoor enthusiasts pushing the limits.
4 lbs (The OG Heavy Duty Duffel Skidmark 68L is 5.6 LBS)
3.6 lbs without messenger shoulder strap
