NARGEAR® Warranty

Due to the destructive nature of the firefighting environment, we do not offer a lifetime warranty. Products exposed to high temperatures, close proximity to open flames, firebrands, soot, ash, dirt, debris, forest organic materials, and long hours of UV exposure all play a part in the accelerated degradation of the fabrics and components.

Our Nargear® warranty states that we will fix manufacture defects at our expense.  We consider each warranty case by case. Damage due to normal wear and tear, natural, and accelerated degradation is not covered under warranty.

For all warranty evaluations and repairs, please contact Nargear ahead of time to receive a RA# (Return Authorization Number). Include your personalized RA# along with a copy of the original receipt and send pack(s) to the address provided once you have established communications with Nargear.

YOU MUST PROFESSIONALLY CLEAN PRODUCTS PRIOR TO SHIPPING THEM TO US.  Make sure it is completely free of dirt, debris, and personal goods or products will be shipped back at the owner’s expense for you to clean.  Unclean packs are difficult to work on and are very harmful to our sewing machines.

All shipping to Warranty must be pre-paid and insured.  Nargear® is not liable for lost inbound packages.

If the product is not covered under the Nargear® warranty, a repair could be assessed for a reasonable charge. We evaluate each case individually.

We understand that the fire arena is strenuous on wildland firefighter gear, including zippers.  Caring for your zipper minimizes dirt and debris from entering the zipper system and causing problems to the teeth.  After a few simple cleaning steps, most zippers are in good working order.  Before sending in your pack for zipper repair, please visit our link to Zipper Care Instructions to avoid repair costs.
