Nargear Pack Technology Overview—

• We originally focused on constructing packs for Fire/Rescue crews, whom depend on equipment functionality, comfort and durability.

Designed for wildland firefighters, wilderness backcountry EMT’s, and Search and Rescue outfits.  These packs are made extra tough to withstand the abuse of the wildland fire arena.  Nargear also offers Aerial Fire Equipment for Smokejumpers (parachuting firefighters) and Helicopter Rappel teams.  The Groper Air Ops (GAO) incorporates a ‘detachable shoulder harness’ as well as ‘tuck-away hip-pads’ to provide a very clean AERODYNAMIC exterior.  Once on the ground, the GAO is identical to it’s sister pack, the Groper….quintessential for firefighting!

• Nargear has taken these functional, essential  qualities to a NEW arsenal of adventure packs…Check out our ‘All Mountain Snow Rescue’ line for snow-specific backpacks!  These bags are VITAL tools to take crucial avalanche equipment into the backcountry.  There is a trio of designs in the ‘Narski Series’ to meet the demands you have on the mountain:

The Owner Lead Designer

George Randall Crone the 1st (aka ‘Ran’) is a Firefighter/EMT Red-Carded on the fireline since 1995, Commercial pilot, USPA D Licensed skydiver , Wingsuit Pilot, Smokejumper (Parachuting Firefighter for the Fed’s), FAA Senior Parachute Rigger, VO-Tech Engineer Draftsman, PADI certified Scuba Diver, spent over a decade trying to drown himself in heavy water North Shore,  X big game hunting Guide in Alaska and has been snowbording Valdez Alaska since 1994.  Randall Crone has an adventurous heart that has traveled many nations via wave, water, snow, and sky.  Crone understands the importance of functionality, comfort, and quality of equipment and has been customizing and improving gear since the 90′s.  Demand of his functionality began in 2004, and has been everlasting and stronger as other ‘outdoor’ enthusiast recognize the importance of these essential qualities of functionality.

Crone (as well as others) is constantly testing Nargear in extreme terrains allover the world to ensure the practicality of Nargear packs.  Nargear is confident with it’s quality, progress, and warranty of  Nargear.  As a personal ‘Thank You’ from the the Nar-Team.
